Shade provides comparative darkness and coolness caused by shelter from direct sunlight; according to oxforddictionaries.com.
Shade is also said to be thrown by a trash talking friend or acquaintance, to publicly denounce or disrespect; according to urbandictionary.com.
Regardless of context, the recipient of shade will always be the cooler one.

Making more positive–rather than negative–choices in life will result in a positive sum.
Making more negative—rather than positive—choices in life will result in a negative sum.
It’s entirely up to you if you want to be a success or a failure.

In hindsight, in retrospect, in looking back, I hope we can all say we are harder, better, faster, stronger than we were in the past.
